Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 19, 2026

This privacy notice explains what personal data First Website collects through first.grass-sites.com, why we do so, and what rights you have. We don’t collect more data than necessary and we don’t share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

What data we collect

When you fill out the contact form on our website, we process the data you enter yourself: your name, email address, subject, and message. In addition, only with your consent, we use Google Analytics to anonymously track how visitors use our website. Without your consent, no analytics or tracking cookies are placed.

Why we process this data

We use the data from the contact form solely to respond to your question or message. The legal basis for this is your consent: by submitting the form, you give us permission to contact you regarding your message.

How we process your data

A completed contact form is sent directly to us by email over a secure (TLS) SMTP connection. Messages are not stored in a database on the website itself; they only exist in our mailbox. We use Gmail (Google) as our mail provider to send these emails, which means Google acts as a processor when your message is sent. More information can be found in Google’s privacy policy.

Retention period

We don’t keep messages submitted through the contact form for longer than necessary to handle your request, with a maximum of 24 months, unless a longer retention period is legally required or needed to answer further questions from you.

Cookies

This website always places functional cookies needed to make the site work properly. With your consent (via the cookie banner), we also place analytics cookies from Google Analytics, which give us anonymized insight into visitor numbers and site usage. Google may act as a processor in this respect; more information can be found in Google’s privacy policy. We don’t use advertising cookies. You can change your choice at any time via the “Cookie preferences” link at the bottom of every page. WordPress, the content management system this site is built on, doesn’t place cookies by default for visitors who aren’t logged in or commenting; the comment feature is disabled on this site.

Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, correct, or have your personal data deleted. You can also object to the processing of your data. Please contact us via the contact form. You also have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) or your local supervisory authority.

Security

We take appropriate technical measures to protect your data, including an encrypted (HTTPS) connection for the entire visit to this website and a secure connection for sending email.

Changes

We may update this privacy notice from time to time, for example when the website gains new functionality. The date at the top of this page indicates when the notice was last updated.
